First Birthday!
I cannot believe how quickly time has passed - Kiana is ONE YEAR OLD! We're so excited to have such an amazing addition to our lives. She has enriched every aspect of our existence.
As Kiana passes this special day, she is preparing to walk and talk very soon. Her words so far have included, "Ma-ma", "apa" (means "what"), and "aduh" (means "ouch") - is this is a sign that she'll absorb both languages with ease?
Kiana - you are the most important part of our lives. We love you. Happy Birthday my little girl.

I have thought about all of you for days (okay, weeks and weeks) in anticipation of Birthday #1 for this child. Kiana is changing so very quickly and it hardly seems possible that a whole year has passed since I got that wonderful phone call announcing her birth. Kiana is a small miracle for all of us!
It would be fun to see MORE photos of Kiana, especially a couple of close-ups that catch her "essence." Got a few more?
